The southern Landes coast, between nature and emblematic sports
21,36 km cycling loop from Seignosse Le Penon
So let yourself be carried away on this cycle path, between natural and urban spaces.
Loop route
When you arrive in Seignosse, leave La Vélodyssée and head towards the Etang Noir Nature Reserve, skirting the pine forest.
After the reserve, take the 1km discovery trail. Follow the wooden footbridge through the vegetation, open your eyes and ears wide, and let yourself go for this rejuvenating escape into the heart of nature.
Continue your loop by heading for the PĂ©debert area. From surfwear factory outlets to clothing boutiques and small restaurants, you can take your time and do a bit of shopping (don't get too Pretty (Wo)men, you're on a bike and your panniers aren't very big!)
Continue on to Hossegor, a renowned surfing resort. This time, you'll be cycling along part of the fabulous Hossegor golf course (one of the most beautiful courses in the world, set in exceptional natural surroundings!), where the vegetation is abundant (a mixture of maritime pines and magnificent cork oaks). Take the opportunity to look around you at all the beautiful Basque-Landes-style architect-designed houses!
Once you've reached the town centre, you can end your trip by returning to La Vélodyssée, following the coastline back up to Seignosse.
