Regional trains services in Pays de la Loire

Discover the Pays de la Loire region by region trains and your bike with complete peace of mind!

From 8 June to 22 September 2024, TER Pays de la Loire is offering you the opportunity to take your bike on board easily on the following lines:

  • Line 1 : Nantes - Le Croisic
  • Line 2 : Nantes - Redon
  • Line 8 : Nantes - Les Sables d'Olonne
  • Line 9 : Nantes - La Rochelle
  • Line 10 : Nantes - Pornic
  • Line 11 : Nantes - Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie

Visitors to these 6 destinations will be able to take advantage of a service designed for their bicycles in safety. Take your bike on board for €1 all summer long! 

🆕 From 8 June to 22 September, reservations for your bikes are compulsory. In addition to your ticket, you'll need a valid reservation for each bike and/or folded trailer. To reserve your bike space in Pays de la Loire, click here to access the dedicated reservation platform! (You can switch the language of the website to english)

Free access without booking from 4 May to 8 June and from 23 to 29 September.

How does it work?

Before boarding, cyclists will entrust their bikes to a team who will place them in a dedicated area of the TER.

The initial capacity of some regional trains will be increased to 18 bicycle spaces.

✔️ This service must be booked before boarding the train and is subject to availability.

✔️ Folded and dismantled bicycles are accepted without reservation. They must be stored in a 130*90cm size bag.  

❌ Tandems or cargo bikes cannot be accepted due to their size.

 

Service availability period

  • 4 May to 30 June: Weekends only
  • 6 July to 1 September : Every day
  • 2 September to 29 September: Weekends only

 

Traffic information

Advice: avoid peak times (7am to 9am and 3pm to 5pm on weekdays, and 5pm to 7pm at weekends and public holidays).
