Morlaix

The historic wealth of Morlaix originated from the linen cultivated and woven in the region, and its international trade helped make the port one of the most important in Brittany.

Today, this characterful town is home to an array of architectural and natural treasures: its Baroque Italian theatre, the arches of its viaduct, and its river which flows out into a magnificent bay dotted with islets.  This ‘town of a thousand faces’ is particularly well known for its unique 16th century Pondalez houses.
